Blue Touch Paper

Blue Touch Paper launched their new website on July 12th, designed and built by Michele Rossi and Alessandra Sangermano at Stylorouge. For anyone who missed our previous posting on Blue Touch Paper, they are an extraordinary, new six-piece band that composer Colin Towns has put together to echo the great Jazz/funk/rock output of '70's crossover acts such as Weather Report and 'electric period' Miles Davis. Readers of Wire magazine will be familiar with the line-up: guitarist Chris Montague from Troyka, Polar Bear's Mark Lockheart on saxophones and Benny Greb on drums. Stephan Maass (percussion), Edward McLean (bass) and Colin himself (on keyboards). Stylorouge have also put together a promotional film and designed the album sleeve for the debut album, Stand Well Back.
