Outside Organisation Logo Design

OUTSIDE ORGANISATION

The Outside Organisation has been at the forefront of public relations in the UK since the 1970’s, and counts among its long-term clients David Bowie, AEG (Wembley Arena), David Beckham and Channel 4’s Big Brother TV programme. When looking for a re-brand and a new website they turned to Stylorouge. The new branding adapted the company’s well established and respected marque and corporate colour, but added some sophisticted glitz and made it more compatible to the online world that prevails in today’s PR industry…

MediaSense

Global media consultancy MediaSense provide a complete service to advertisers – making sense of the growing numerous options currently available across the marketing media. Their knowledge of advertising is second to none – they use statistics and analysis to create projections for the success of a campaign.
They are generously committed to regular engagement with their existing and potential clientele, via the publication of industry reports. They involve advertising professionals by canvassing their opinions and insights into the various media they themselves employ. Stylorouge were asked to create animated clips of some of the pithy soundbites that were garnered for this particular report, which were then rolled out daily on social platforms during the run-up to publication.

Chatto & Co

An investment consultancy based in Kent that needed to present a fresh face to their client base.
A logo and website were developed by Stylorouge that felt clean, expansive and international, and left the door open for adaptation and expansion of the company’s activities.

A development of dwellings crafted for modern-day living in a highly traditional setting. The developers required a brand design and website for the project that felt both contemporary and respectful of the noble historic rural industrial location.
We undertook the task enthusiastically, working closely with the project manager and architects to present a smart, easy-to-use website that would work equally well for potential buyers as well as acting as a useful B2B interface.

CBC Partnership

Stylorouge created the new brand identity for City of London Insurance brokers CBC.
Inspired by the company’s 2017 management buy-out, the exercise included a name change from CBC Insurance to CBC Partnership, and the corporate design sets out to convey a more friendly, people-based identity.
CBC has been undergoing a real sea-change in terms of it’s business culture, with accountability, reliability and dedication the watchwords in it’s new messaging.
Stylorouge collaborated with the company to set up focus groups comprised of all the 30-odd staff members, and fly-on-the-wall photographs were then taken of the event for use within the launch campaign. These images were then deployed within office decor and on the new CBC website which was also created by Stylorouge.

Stylorouge were approached to create a brand identity and website to launch a new development in the West Country to be built on a long since disused brownfield site. Targeting young families seeking a refuge from urban life the architectural style and location were reflected in our print and online work for the project.

Stylorouge continue to develop their ongoing marketing campaign work for the coolest music university on the planet, DIME (Detroit Institute of Music Education). DIME was branded by Stylorouge, and their pre-launch marketing campagn was also created by us.
DIME boasts guest ‘masterclass’ and Q&A visits by Paulo Nutini, George Clinton, Usher and veteran Stevie Wonder MD and session drummer Nate Watts.
DIME contracted Stylorouge to create a campaign to launch the university to a widely varied, music loving market in one of the world’s modern music heartlands. Our solution was to introduce it by its four letter acronym, DIME and the slogan MUSIC IS A FOUR LETTER WORD. A flurry of four-lettered ‘call-to-action’ copy-writing ensued, with results ranging from SING YOUR SONG and FORM YOUR BAND to MAKE YOUR MARK and DROP THAT BEAT. Members of the college’s first ever student cohort were photographed in Detroit by Stylorouge’s creative director Rob O’Connor, and turned into expressive campaign photo-illustrations by Mark Higenbottam, the first two of which were utilised in DIME’s recent print advertising.
The follow-up campaign was essentially a recruitment drive for courses via DIME Online, the remote education wing of the DIME Group. These ads feature the work of illustrator Russ Mills.

Island Outpost Resorts

Stylorouge were delighted to be approached by Island Records founder Chris Blackwell’s company Island Outpost to create new brand identities for a number of their portfolio of unique Jamaican vacation resorts. A full suite of visual collateral was developed for the branding exercise, and the respective websites underwent a visual overhaul to match.
The brief was to highlight the individuality of the group of holiday destinations, whilst retaining a visual consistency for this inherently eclectic group. The new branding for The Caves picks up on the colourful culture of Jamaica and the joyous bohemia of the resort itself, but with an air of sophistication.

The premium nature of Fleming Villa demanded something that conveyed the privacy of the location, and it’s history as the home of James Bond creator Ian Fleming. The luxury home is tucked away in lush tropical gardens on the Oracabessa coastline.

As the flagship of the Island Outpost portfolio of vacation properties Fleming Villa also needed a spanking new website, designed and built by Stylorouge.

Creative Director Rob O’Connor flew out to the resort, which sits adjacent to Island Outpost’s Goldeneye complex on the Oracabessa coast in Jamaica earlier in the year to take photographs for the site and meet some of the great people who work there.

Luke Fitzpatrick

Golf is the new rock’n’ roll! – at least according to experienced executive producer, music and artist manager Matthew Fletcher of Happy Entertainment. With this in mind he has taken on management of the extremely talented young pro golfer Luke Fitzpatrick. Berkshire-based Luke has been playing the game since he was at junior school and has never lost sight of his great sporting ambitions.
The relationship between Happy and Luke represents a commitment for the company to golf, and sport in general as a crucial part of personal development for today’s and tomorrow’s youth. It also has enormous potential for growth into all areas of the media – and Happy intend to demonstrate this in the coming months.
Stylorouge have designed a logo for Luke Fitzpatrick and have been working alongside Happy to create PR tools for both Luke and the company’s vision for the future of golf itself

SHAKESPEARE’S GLOBE THEATRE

We were delighted to be asked by Shakespeare’s Globe in London to create the branding for Summer of Love, the 2017 summer season at the iconic theatre. The brief was to marry the spirit of the original 1967 Summer of Love (on it’s 50th anniversary) with the ongoing celebration of diversity that is at the heart of Globe creative director Emma Rice’s manifesto for the theatre in general. It resulted in some unexpected poster visuals, and was a hugely enjoyable project to work on. Stylorouge also worked on marketing for the theatre’s other 2017 productions as a result of producing the SUMMER OF LOVE campaign.

Business Alchemy

Building a successful business is not always dependant on meeting production and profit targets, and taking financial advice – the dynamics within the workforce itself, and the culture and personality of the company often need a helping hand that comes from a more spiritual place. Andrew Wallas is described as a “rare combination of highly successful businessman and corporate shaman”… his company, Business Alchemy, has been regenerating and changing fortunes of businesses for sometime now by adding humanity to human resources. He approached Stylorouge for a re-brand of Business Alchemy, and it’s sister company, School For Business Alchemy. Our new logo has been applied to stationery and we designed the two company websites.

Ki Productions

Production company Ki Films approached Stylorouge to create a new logo to adorn their new website and spearhead their rebranding online. The word Ki (or chi) is derived from the Chinese for the ubiquitous life force, and was originally chosen to reflect an inherent interest and focus on martial arts. However, the company has evolved to embrace more music and commercial projects, which suggested a move away from the oriental calligraphic logo they previously had.
The new design was also introduced on their business stationery.
